Living Well Mindfulness offer Taster Sessions for those who would like to find out more about mindfulness before committing to a full 8 week course.
The Mindfulness Taster will explain what mindfulness is and how it can help you.
You will be led in two short meditation practices, the Body Scan and the 3 Stage Breathing Space. You will also experience a ‘Chocolate Meditation’.
By the end of the hour you will have felt some of the benefits of mindfulness for yourself and will be able to make a truly informed choice about whether an 8 week course is right for you. There will be an opportunity to talk to the course leader at the end.
Wear loose, comfortable clothing. There will be no need to get onto the floor, and we will not be doing any exercise.
